– Silverstone, Northamptonshire – Known as the home of British motor racing, Silverstone hosted the first ever F1 Grand Prix back in 1950. Even the corners on the circuit are well known – Copse, Becketts and Stowe are just a few! Attracting passionate fans from around the world to the British Grand Prix each year, it is a must-visit motor racing circuit for speed fans!
– Brands Hatch, Kent – With its undulating layout and challenging corners, Brands Hatch circuit plays host to a number of different motorsport disciplines, including superbikes and touring cars, for example. It has rich racing heritage which makes it a favourite for fans and competitors alike.
- Donnington Park, Leicestershire – This circuit enjoys a picturesque setting, along with fast straights and technically challenging corners. Dating back to pre-WWII, the circuit provides a great day out for motorsport enthusiasts, and is also home to the famous Download rock festival each year so, you could say, a multi-purpose circuit!
– Goodwood, Chichester – Although the circuit no longer hosts major international races, it was a prominent venue for motorsport events between the 1940s and 1960s. Today, this historic circuit is well maintained and hosts events such as the iconic Goodwood Festival of Speed, amongst others, which attracts motorsport enthusiasts from around the world.
– Thruxton Circuit, Hampshire – This is the fastest motor racing circuit in the UK (and one of the longest, at 2.4 miles per lap) and a legendary venue for motorsport. It certainly tests the nerves of drivers, with its fast and challenging corners, and today regularly hosts car and motorcycle racing events. There’s no doubt that this is a favourite amongst motor racing aficionados.
