There is no doubt that the Wimbledon Championships are at the top of the list when we talk about iconic sporting occasions. It is the oldest tennis tournament in the world, having been played since 1877, and takes place on the grass courts of the All England Club in South-West London.

As you would expect from such a high-profile event, the visitor experience is second to none. Visitors can expect strawberries & cream, along with Pimms & lemonade to be consumed in abundance!

Events of this magnitude need a whole host of equipment behind the scenes, from different contractors across the UK live events industry, from AV and outside broadcast facilities through to power generation and even furniture hire for hospitality areas.

There is always a huge amount of corporate hospitality that takes place at Wimbledon, as well as hospitality in the sponsor and VIP lounges, for instance, all of which needed banqueting tables and chairs in large quantities and, of course, in top quality. At the same time, Spaceworks also provided outdoor furniture for a number of key public areas around the venue.

Congratulations to Carlos Alcaraz (men’s singles) and Marketa Vondrousova (ladies singles), along with all the winners of the doubles, wheelchair & junior competitions.
